End of the mission!
The 13-year mission of Cassini, the Saturn exploration vehicle of the American Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), ended when it was thured to the surface of Saturn.
Cassini, who was scheduled to make 22 dives through the Saturn rings in 2001. It was on his way to his final mission, and burned to the post in Saturn’s atmosphere after his 22nd dive.
